The second David Doig Golf Day was held once again at St Andrews, this time at The Dukes course. The fun event, held on Friday 31 August, saw 11 teams of 4 once again contesting the David Doig Memorial Trophy - kindly donated last year by Jan Hart and Andy Paterson. It was an exceptional day weather-wise and everyone was joyous at playing this beautiful course in such great conditions.
Transocean (Andy Leslie, Mike Rae, Stewart McLean, Dougie Brown) yet again proved their golfing prowess by successfully retaining their title with a winning net score of 54.6. Runners up were the OES Group with a net score of 57.2 (Steve Ure, Paul Brown, Mike Rennie, Chris Gaff). Third prize went to “A Rhum Lot”, Net 58.8 (Gillian Doig, Craig Scott, Jim Cowan, Trevor Cragg)

A wonderful amount of £5209 was raised for the David Doig Foundation.
