I have been heartened with the support from everyone who shares the vision of the Foundation: that access to education should be available to everyone regardless of their circumstances, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to achieve their true potential. No child's educational success should be limited by their socio-economic or geographical background.
Much of that support has been financial, and I am delighted that the total raised so far is a magnificent £112,000, which is 62% of the overall target. On the news pages are just some of the ways we raised funds as well as the initiatives and projects that will now start to benefit from the first tranche of this funding.
