David had a huge zest for life and was always keen to keep learning something new. Just before he passed away he had intended to re-learn the violin, an instrument he had played when he was a young boy. Sadly, the violin that he received last Christmas remained silent…..but happily, this has now been donated to the classical music students from Edinburgh College – previously Telford College where David studied as a young man. David’s violin will be used for special tuition and for future classical concerts that the college arranges.
